Arnold Dream
Arnold says he and Penelope were both suppose to be happy with their limitations, to not have big dreams, to sit still. Explain why dreams are so important to Arnold ?
Dreams are important to Arnold because he was born poor nothing to feel happy about. His dad was a alcoholic, so he felt that his dad was nothing. He did nothing with his life instead just drank his life away. So, Arnold felt he had to have some hope in himself to feel he had a dream of himself doing better then his parents. He lose family members and that made him more motivate to have hope and dreams. The breaking point was when his grandma died he wanted to give up on life so he don't have to worry about being the most popular kid or fit in. Born in a really poor family he had more dignity for himself to accomplish what none of the Indians had done yet. All he wanted is hope to dream about his future. Its always good to dream big but don't let the dream get the better of you. Having a supporting cast was one of Arnold motivation to make his dream happen.
